Private by default, not an option you hunt for

  • Every record starts visible only to you. You decide, trip by trip, what to share and with whom.
  • No location permissions — campgrounds and regions are ones you pick yourself.
  • No tracking, no ads, and your data is never sold.
  • Delete everything anytime with “Settings → Delete account” in the app.

FAQ

Where can I download Tentory?
Tentory is live on both stores: App Store and Google Play — free to download.
Is Tentory free?
Yes — recording trips, managing gear, and collecting footprints and badges are free. Some features (photo count, AI-drafted journal entries) come with a free allowance.
Can other people see my records?
Not by default. Every record starts visible only to you; you decide, trip by trip, whether to share it publicly or with camping friends. See the Privacy Policy.
Does it need location permissions?
No. Tentory never uses location permissions — you pick the campground and region yourself, and the footprint map is built from your records.
How do I delete my account and data?
Use “Settings → Delete account” in the app to remove everything yourself, or see the account and data deletion guide.
How are the numbers on a campground page counted?
Only publicly shared records count, and each camper counts once: how many shared publicly, how many would return, and the highlights they picked (a highlight appears once at least two campers chose it). No average stars, ratios, or rankings, and the campground owner's own records are excluded. "You've been here N times" uses all of your records, including private ones, and is visible only to you.
What exactly gets shared with a share card?
An image, not a link, sent to the app you pick. It contains only what the card shows plus the Tentory watermark — never your private records. The attached text can be removed in the share sheet.
How do AI journal drafts and styled avatars work?
Each has a monthly limit that depends on your plan and resets every month. Making a record public for the first time earns extra avatar credits; once used up, credits return next month.
